What's going on in the sophomore comp/speech classes? Ms. Kim Eggers and Mrs. Samantha Walder are doing projects in both classes. In Mrs. Samantha Walder's class they are working on Propaganda which is used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or view of point. Mrs. Walder's class got to form groups and make up there own poster and flyer about propaganda. What Caught me the most while working “ Was getting to see the different types of propaganda,” said Thad Krause. The class was enjoying it a lot and got to get creative with it. “I enjoys it because we got to make it the way we wanted to and to show our classmates” said Krause.
Ms. Kim Eggers are learning and reading about The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow. The legend of Sleeping Hollow is also a book by Washington Irving. They have been made into two different movies. Ms. Eggers classmates had to do a individual and a group projects. In the individual project you had to pick if you would like to draw your favorite scene of the movie, Rewrite and ending, and also you could of wrote a letter. For the group project the class either could of made a movie or a 20 question quiz. “I enjoyed the book a lot it was really interesting to learn and hear about the headless horse men,” said Alex Stein. “My favorite part of the whole Legend of Sleepy Hollow was watching the movies the classmates put together and answering the questions out loud,” said Stein
