At 9:00 this morning I got to my church. Why so early you ask? Well because that is what time the kids at St. Paul's Lutheran Church have Sunday School. This is before our church worship service which starts at 10:00.
I am usually just a helper at Sunday School, but today I actually got the role of being the teacher. It wasn't to difficult of a job, seeing as I only had two students there today. We talked about how to be a good example to others. And what some of the bad examples to others were. We got to play Simon Says, representing that what you show to others can be a powerful thing.
It is very interesting to be able to help out in Sunday School. It is interesting to think that not too long ago I was siting and listening to someone teach me about God. Now I get the chance to help other children to the same thing. Let me just say this, "It is a great experience and it is one that will last with me forever!"
