Good Friday
Good Friday is a religious holiday and it is the end of lent. It is always celebrated on Friday and this year it is on April 10, 2009. This religious holiday is always the Friday before Easter Sunday. Some other names to called Good Friday are Holy Friday, Great Friday, or Black Friday. The significance of Good Friday is the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. Various churches observe Good Friday in addition to Catholics and Eastern Christians, Anglicans, Methodists, and Lutherans all observe Good Friday to varying degrees. These people celebrate this holiday at a church. Also, Good Friday was first started 33 AD.
