The news article that chose to write about is on the singer, actress,songwriter, girl names, Katy Perry. The reason why I want to do my blog on this is because you don't normally see those type of big names in your newspaper that is for Clear Lake, South Dakota. The article is about how she won the most awards at the people's choice awards. She did seem to be extremely surprised when her name was called for more then a dozen awards and more then 2 dozen nominations. She is one of the worlds greatest pop stars and she is talented and extremely well rounded. There is nothing, and I mean nothing that she thinks that she can't do. There are so many things that she has accomplished. I hope that she stays on the path she is now and who knows, maybe she will go down in history for years to come.
