Last year, sophomore Haley Donahue went along for the journey. "We went to workshops, listened to speakers, and then Mrs. Miller took us out for ice cream on the way home." Donahue said that there was some very nice artwork there.

Showcasing Artwork
This Friday, some area high school artists will be boarding the bus at 7:00 a.m. to go to the Granary Art Show to showcase some of their work. The event is taking place in Aberdeen this year because the other location in the country is flooded right now. Students that are for sure participating include Mara Niemann, Kyle Pederson, Stephanie Stee, Emily Smith, and Emily Maas. Art teacher, Barb Miller, is still looking for other students to go along. Each student that is going is bringing one piece of their artwork. Miller said, "If the student isn't present that day, they aren't able to win." While at the art show, students are going to be involved in workshops.
