This summer many of the football players are encouraged to attend football camp."We are attending a team camp at SDSU in Brookings," said Head Football Coach Matt Rosdahl. Those who attend the camp will get instructions SDSU coaches and players on specific positions. The team will also be able to compete with other team that attend the camp. "Players attend camp to improve as a football player, build team unity, compete, help them get recruited to play for college, and have fun, says Rosdahl. Rosdahl says that players really do benefit form going to camps. They get a instructions form college catches that give the players a different perspective. There are no camps for coaches to attend to but Rosdahl did attend a coaches clinic and got to learn from the University of Nebraska coaches for three days. Coach Rosdahl hopes that all if not most of the players attend the SDSU camp and that the quarterback with attend a QB camp and camps for linemen. "They could spend the whole summer going from camp to camp if they wanted to," said Rosdahl.
