Sticks for Basketball Chicks
The Deuel High School Basketball Team held their first meeting Tuesday after school. Each player was advised to grab at least 5 popsicle sticks but could gladly take more. They are to give a stick to either a family member or a friend who is supposed to write an inspirational quote or something like that on it. Head Girls Basketball Coach, Scott Mitchell isn't letting the team know what these sticks are for, but they will eventually find out. Haley Donahue said, "I think the writing on the popsicle sticks will help to motivate us."
