Did You Get That?

Last Thursday Mrs. Walder's Journalism class was making sure they got pictures and videos for the Veteran's Day Program. Taking pictures and shooting videos were just a few things some of the students did during the hour long program. Every year Deuel School puts on a program to thank all veterans. We usually have a speaker, two or three middle school students that give a speech they write in their english class, a power point presentation, we have our high school band and chorus play some music, along with some elementary students too. After the program the National Honors Society serves the veterans cake and coffee in the little gym to finish the day off.
To the right is a picture of Lexi Quail shooting a video of the 4th and 5th graders singing a song saying thank you to the veterans.
