This past Saturday, I meandered my way down to Brookings with my niece Teagen and my mother. We decided to go to the new Children's Museum of South Dakota! Teagen had already been there, so she showed us the way around. I think it would have been more fun if there weren't so many kids running around. My favorite part of the museum was probably the grocery store room. I tried to milk the cow in the farm, but that was a fail, but I wasn't the only one who couldn't succeed.
There were a lot of different things in the museum that I didn't even know exsisted. In the music room there were spotlights on the floor, and they were motion activated so whenever a light was covered up it played a different song.
It was a little chilly outside, so both pictures to the left were taken from inside.
The top picture is the 10-foot tall baby T-rex. The bottom picture is the 25-foot tall mama T-rex. The dinosaurs were made in China, and their silicon skin was made to withstand the extreme South Dakota climates. The baby however is stored in a sealed off cave to protect it from the cold.
