Vote or Die
This past weekend I registered to vote. On Thursday, October 8th, 2010, I went to the Codington County Court House to register. I thought it would be a complicated process but you simply fill out general information and submit it. It was a really easy process. I then absentee voted that same day too, since I have District Volleyball on November 2nd, or election day. You stand in a booth while voting to secure your privacy (shown in the picture). You vote for state and county offices and also four proposed State amendments. There were amendments about legalizing medical marijuana and keeping a secret ballot. I felt important to be a part of who gets elected into office this coming election! If you're 18 I recommend you vote too!
