2011 summer plans!

Some of the sophomore boys have a few plans of their own for this summer! Andy Buchholtz plans to get a job so that he can make a few extra bucks. That is probably for the GMC Jimmy (click to see what it is) that he plans to buy this summer. He plans to spend sometime out side while he is in Yankton and Lewis and Clark Lake. Andy will be camping there with a few people. On some night Andy plans to get his groove on and go out and party! Erik Wallert's plans are a little different then Buchholtz. Erik will be moving this summer and he is going to moving some stuff to his house in Minnesota. For Thatcher Koenecke he is planning to spend some time this summer doing sports. He is going be soaking up some some while playing some golf. Like a lot of the boys in Clear Lake Thatcher plans to play some baseball this summer. Looks like those three friends have some different plans!

Summer Agenda!

Sophomore Carrie Volzke has a full agenda this summer! In June she will be starting the summer off with helping at a church camp for her church in Watertown, South Dakota. Then she will also be getting dressed up for her cousins wedding that she will be attending. Just like many other families, Carrie has a family reunion to attend. To start of the month of July she will be taking a trip to rapid city with her churches youth group! When it starts coming down to the end of the summer, Carrie will be taking a vacation with her family. This vacation will consist of going to Washington D.C., New York, and also Philadelphia. From personal experiences of going to Philadelphia, and am 100% sure that she will have a great time! There are so many places to visit while there like the liberty bell and also famous chocolate factory/ amusement park! one word for that is AMAZING! Sounds like Carrie will be having a great 2011 summer!

Summer Fun!

Sophomore Jenna Freese and Samantha Wiekamp have a fun filled summer coming up. Jenna will be spending a lot of time with her church. In the fist part of June she will be helping at a church camp that he church in watertown will be hosting. Then during the week of July 11th she will be taking a trip with her church to a church camp. They will be hiking through the badlands and set up camp that night and after that they will hick back out. They will also set up camp in Custer and spend the day camping, eating, and also taking a trip to the mall. Jenna also does look forward to some family reunions that she had going on in the summer. She will be attending one in July and then another one later on in the summer. Like some other people Jenna will spend sometime at the lake with family and friends while they fish and just sit around a camp fire. One thing in august that she is looking forward to is turning the big 16!
Things are different when it comes to Sams summer. For the first two weeks in June Sam will be attending two gymnastics camps. One camp will be in Wisconsin and the other will be in Nebraska. The camp in Wisconsin is called Lake Owen and the one in Nebraska is called Nebraska Woman's Gymnastics Camp. She wont be done with gymnastics just yet though because she has practice every week during the summer at Dakota Gold in Watertown, South Dakota. Sounds like a busy summer to me!

With summer approaching so many people are getting summer fever! Everyone has something to look forward to, it could be a vacation or maybe having a summer job. Freshman Karina Noem is looking forward to a few things. One things is her summer job of life guarding at the pool. She also is looking forward to a few events like baseball and also the rodeo. The rodeo is one of the biggest things that people look forward to in the summer. Karina also is looking forward to the summer sun. Sophomore Dannika Vandebrake is looking forward to some different things then Karina. She is looking forward to riding her bike into town so that she can hang out with her friends. That is a great way to go hang out with your friends and also get some exercise. Somethings that everyone looks forward to is getting their license to drive and Dannika can't wait to get her license this summer! Looks like they have a lot of plans this summer!
