Swimming Suits

All you ladies know the feeling, the feeling of either relief, or in most cases, dread, when you walk into a store and see them. Hanging there, various colors, shapes, sizes, and styles. I am talking about swimming suits.

The Sun may not start be shinning down, warming our skin, getting us darker, but the sun is on its way! You heard me, swimming suit season is swiftly approaching! You only have 3 months until it will be tanning season!

Sophomore Katelyn Lovre said, “I can not wait until swimming suit season! The reason why I am so super excited it because I love just being out in the sun, getting tan and I absolutely love to swim. A lot of the years I see people that are totally freaking out in the stores about what type of swimming suit to wear and what color looks best on them, I however, do not have to worry about that because I have a ton of different bikini's and I like to mix and match colors and styles and prints.”

While researching the feelings that people have towards swimming suit I happened to come upon a study that was done by Anytime Fitness. This study said that more than 70 percent of Americans would rather go to the dentist, do their taxes, sit in the middle aisle of an airplane or visit their in-laws than go shopping for a swimsuit.

Another thing that was said in the study that was done by Anytime Fitness, is 7 is almost a third of women say they plan on wearing full body cover-ups when at the beach or the pool, and 20 percent of all responders said they plan to avoid the beach altogether.

Women now-a-days are so concerned with what everybody thinks about their body, that they are holding back from living there life to the absolute fullest. If its summer time then you should feel comfortable enough with you're self that you will go to the beach, and soak up all the sun that you can.

The sun gives out Vitamin D, and it is a proven fact by researchers that Vitamin D is one of the many things that can make you naturally happy. Just like running, and exercise, Vitamin D releases endorphins that are said to make you feel happier.

So what does this have to do with swimming suit season, well, if you are outside in the sun, with a swimming suit on, then you are going to have endorphins released into your system and you will be happier. So ladies, just stress less about what you look like while on the beach, and just be happy with the way you are.
