Back in the old days

As you can see I read books that are in a series a lot. This is just because I like books that continue to tell a story and give you more than just a book. It is more fun when you get a longer period of time for a story, it makes it more interesting.
Another set of books that I want to read but haven't read all of is the Laura Ingalls Wilder books. I have only read a couple of them but they are really good books. They give you a some what better understanding as to what it would have been like to live back in that time frame.
Laura, in these books, talks about her family and her time growing up. She wrote these books when she got older because her daughter thought it would be a good idea. The books tell about her family and their struggles and all the times that they moved. In the last book she talks about her first four years with her husband and their having a child together.
I would for sure recommend these books if your looking for something to entertain you. It will allow you to have a look back into times that are much different than our own time. You would find out what it was like to actually ride in a covered wagon and live through a terrible snow storm without all the things we have now.
Don't write these books off just because they aren't like all the other books that you have ever read in your life. You have to try all sorts of books to know which one is your favorite. For me it is something that is going to keep me on the edge of my seat until the last word, or until I put it down for the night. A book also has to have adventure and action, and maybe even some love. All books are different so just pick one out and starting reading. Remember, though, to never judge a book by its cover.
