One Act Play!

The one act play this year is "The Devil and Tom Walker."On January 22nd the play will be performed at the school at 1:00 P.M. The director is Samantha Walder,Deuel High School teacher, and the student directors are Mara Niemann and Tasha Gniffke. Stephanie Stee who plays Old Scratch says her favorite part about participating in the play is "its fun to actually to go to Madison and perform on stage and to just hang out with all the cast." The cast will also be going to Madison to perform at the Dakota Prarie Playhouse January 27. They compete against Deubrook, Flandreau, Howard, Madison and Great Plains Lutheran. A few of the cast is nervous about the play coming up. Shannon DeBoer, who plays Widow Pebody, says "In a way I'm nervous just because this is for competition instead of just a regular performance." Most of the cast has performed in a school play before this year. Kylie TeKrony, plays Grace, has been doing plays since she was about 12 years- old. We hope to see you there!
