Wrestling from the 21st

On Saturday, the Deuel wrestling team traveled up north to Redfield for the region 1B tournament. The top four place winners in each bracket would move on to the State B Wrestling tournament in Aberdeen. The wrestlers got 6th place as a team with a team score of 70 points. Deuel had four placers that would move on to the State tournament. Derek K. got 4th place to move on in the 125 lb bracket. Lance H. will move on to state in the 152 lb catagory with his 2nd place finish. Spencer S. also earned 2nd place in his 160 lb bracket to move on to state. Mark S. kept his roll going on Saturday, winning his 171 lb region bracket. The state tourney will start at 10:00 on Friday at the Barnett Center in Aberdeen.
