Boys Basketball from the 23rd
On Monday the boys had their final regular season game at home against the Redfield Pheasants. Redfield is a NEC rival and every game since I have been in high school has been close and fun to watch. This year the Cardinals were looking to take care of business, but the young and determined Pheasants team gave our boys all they could handle. The Cards ended up pulling it off winning 54-50. Chance O. was the leading scorer in this game with 19 points. The boys will host the first round district game against Deubrook. This will be a revenge game for the Deuel boys because they lost a 61-57 overtime game against the Dolphins earlier in the year. The game will start at 7:00 on Tuesday at the Cardinal (big) gym in Clear Lake.
