Girls basketball from the 24th
On Tuesday the girls hosted the first round district game against the Deubrook Dolphins. Previously this year the girls defeated the Dolphins by 15 points at Duebrook. The Dolphins were looking for revenge as the game was close the whole way through the game. Our girls were up in the first quarter by one and down by one at half time. But then our girls pushed and led at the end of the 3rd 48-38. They kept fighting and they did not let the upset minded Dolphins get the best of them. The Deuel Cardinal girls moved on defeating the Duebrook Dolphins again 64-49. The leading scorer was Jenna V. as she score 27 points. The girls will take on Sioux Valley for the District Championship Game at the Swiftel Center on Friday.
