School Board Reconigtion

This week is school board recognition week, which is to recognize the school board. Members of the school board include Jerome DeBoer, Myrna Becht, Paul Witte, Tara Gibson, and Dan Sievers. The main job of the school board is to set policy for the school district. “I feel it’s important that everyone takes part in their children’s education,” said Jerome DeBoer. The administration is involved with the school board. Mr. Benson said, “they’re interested in what’s going in the school and I appreciate that they’re supportive,” that’s why he likes the school board. The school board holds a meeting once a month.
