Alernative Energy

Mr. Karels 6th hour Ag science class is making alternative energy. They are trying to think of other ways of getting natural preservatives to make oil and other things we could use for heat and electricity. Clint Koppman, Landon Krause, and Tim Rossow are helping with the project. Mr. Karels said, “The project is small scale and they are held in the classroom. They are mostly demonstration sized.” When asked about what they were going to use the alternative energy for Mr. Karels said, “When we make biodiesel, we will put it in my truck when it is done. The same for all of the experiments.” The Birdwatcher will stay updated to this project and will see if they really do put the biodiesel in Mr. Karels truck.
