Color Wheel Art Projects By: Allie Farthing and Dominic Fieber

Deuel High School students have started their first project in painting class. They all got to make color wheels. Their design in the middle of your paper had to be an underwater creature. Once they had their pattern where they wanted it to be, they would mark the center with a small dot and then start drawing concentric circles. After the circles were drawn they would start painting the inside of their creature. If part of their design was out of a circle, they would paint that part later with the complementary, or opposite color, on the color wheel.

This project has taken the students a week and a half to do. They will be displayed on Artsonia which is a website that displays the artwork of the student body in the different art classes. You can get to Artsonia by going to the Deuel website homepage and click on resources, then students, and it is listed there, or you can just go to www.artsonia.com. Hope you all enjoy the art of the students!
