Branson Trip

On the road to Branson, we can't wait to get on the road to Branson, the life I live is making music with my friends and we can't wait to get on the road to Branson.

Deuel High School Chorus and Band members are getting the opportunity to go to Branson, Missouri on April 8th through the 11th. The whole trip is just for fun. There is no competition involved. Chorus director, Mrs. Beth Hansen and band director, Mrs. Jolene Krause are taking the students on the trip to reward them for sticking with chorus and band and to inspire them to continue to be involved.

Most of the kids are really pumped to go in April. Some kids are preparing in different ways than others. Sophomore Adam Krause is going to work hard during the time he and his group have left. Freshman Justin Cassels said, “I guess I'm going to just throw some clothes together, stack up on the food, and save enough money to spend on souvenirs and stuff.”

Mrs. Krause and Mrs. Hansen decided to go to Branson because its close enough to where it won't take a real long time to get there yet far enough away that not many of the students have been there. The group is taking one big charter bus all the way down to Missouri.

The students have been raising money along the way by fundraising. The next upcoming fundraiser is going to be on the 5th at the boys' and girls' double header. They will be serving baked potatoes and toppings if you would like to come help them get on their way to Branson, Missouri.
