In Waubay, SD the water from Blue Dog Lake is getting to extremes. The lake has over flowed lately taking out peoples homes. It says the problem isn't probably going away any time soon. People in Waubay are going to have find homes on higher ground. Everyone is involved in making sure that everyone still has a place to live.
The main reason I chose this story to write about is because my aunt, uncle, and grandmother live in Waubay. Also, ironically enough, my aunt and uncle have/had a cabin on Blue Dog. The cabin has since been flooded by the lake and probably won't be able to be helped any time soon. I was looking as some pictures my cousin posted on facebook, and its insane that they have to wear waders just to get to the cabin and the little buildings around it.
