Music With American Idol

The Americal Idol is a reality tv show that has been going on for 9 seasons. Simon Fuller created American Idol and is one of the judges. The first time it was aired was on June 11th, 2002. This was created to find a new solo writing hit artists. It is now one of the most popular television shows on tv. For six seasons in a row it has been the number one watched tv shows. It passed The Cosby Show, that was the most watched tv show for five years.
All of the contestants are voted off until the final two, then the viewers choose who the winner is by sending in text messages. Some of the winners so far have been Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jordin Sparks, and Lee DeWyze. These singers have now become really popular and have written and recorded some hit songs since American Idol. The well known judges have been Randy Jackson, Paula Abdul, and Simor Cowell but now the judges consist of Randy, Jennifer Lopez, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, and . But ever since the show has started Ryan Seacrest has been the host.
I think that this show it very unique, you get to see all different kinds of people and hear many different voices. You have to be at least fifteen years old and you can not be older than twenty eight. The contestants have to survive three different cuts in the show. I think that if you make it to the end of the show you would be pretty good and that both of you could win easily. If you make it to the end you should have a great attitude and just go out and do your best and have fun, and try not to be nervous and ruin your chance at winning.
