Just a Hop Skip and a Jump

Tuesdays' track practice started out with a five minute warm up run around the gyms. Then the team did some serious stretching and then ended warm up with a team meeting talking about what are practice will entail. The team was going to work on their specialties, which are things like long jump, high jump, shot put, hurdles and working on their blocks. During some part of practice you had to run for 25 minutes inside due to the snow and rain. High jump set up that mats and worked on their foot work and form. Long and triple jump headed down to the elementary hall way were they measured their foot work. Shot put worked on their skills using softballs to work on their technique. The hurdlers were really jumping to it. They set up hurdles across the gym and practiced starting from the blocks.
