On January 17th, the Deuel Gymnastics team hosted a meet. There was suppose to be three teams there and that would be Sisseton, Milbank, and the home team Deuel. Due to the weather Sisseton did not make it to the meet. That night was also parents night so all the gymnastics (grades 6-12) lined up on the floor and when their names were called they walked up to their parents and gave them a big hug. The meet went really good and was kinda short. Thanks to all the support from the audience, the Deuel JV placed third, Milbank placed 2nd, and Deuel Varsity winning it all got 1st. After the meet and after every one left cept the gymnast and parents, they all sat down for a little meeting. Mr.G and all the seniors all gave a little speech. To finish the night there was some snacks and drinks for every one to enjoy.
The Jv has had a very good year and we ended it last night at the last JV meet. Good Job ladies on our season and good luck to all the varsity girls that are progressing on and going to state!
