What makes teens want to trouble their lives by adding a child into their already complicated life? Having a child at that young of an age can mess up your education and other plans for the future. Just by one stupid decision, you can ruin almost everything in your life.
Why does having a child effect your life so much? If you are pregnant chances are you will have morning sickness and you might not be able to go to school. Once you have your child you will have to take a few weeks off of school to take care of it. After you go back to school you will probably be up most of the night taking care of your kid, so you will be tired at school.
Teens that become pregnant face many consequences. Most teens that are pregnant don't finish high school and they end up on welfare. Think about that one decision you made and how much of a disaster it could cause.
It is terrible to think that 1/3 of teens will most likely become pregnant. Statistics show that 22% of teen daughters end up as teen moms themselves. 2/3 of pregnant teens end up not finishing school and can not further their education. The United States could save millions of dollars if less teens became pregnant.
