Boys Basketball from the 3rd
On Tuesday, the Deuel boys basketball team hosted the Duebrook Dolphins for the first round of districts. This game was everything anyone hoped and wanted it to be. The Cardinals came out with a bang as they had an 11 point lead at the end of the 1st. The boys keeped their hot grove going as they had a nine point lead at half-time. Duebrook, though, was just starting. They shot better than 70% in the 3rd quarter and it was down to a two point lead for our boys. The game ended in disappointment for our Deuel side as the Dolphins came on late and defeated our guys 43-42 to end the Deuel boys season rather ubruptly.
