The Deuel High School Journalism class will bring you the Birdwatcher in an online edition. The Birdwatcher has been delivered to students in paper form all year, but in an effort to modernize, we will be broadcasting our paper online now. Journalists of a new era will use new formats to deliver the news. As evident from our last presidential election cycle, the internet can swing public opinion and is one of the fastest methods of delivering information.
All of us will be posting upcoming events and highlight recent events in our school and community. Each student journalist will have their own ‘beat’ that they will be covering and posting at least twice a week to our blog. They are all contributors, but you as the reader have a unique opportunity to comment on our posts. It is our policy to moderate comments and only allow comments with your name and email address to be approved. All comments must also be appropriate for our school blog.
If you would like to remind us of anything that we have missed or errors, please feel free to comment also. Thank you for reading!
The Deuel High School Birdwatcher Staff welcome you to our new online edition. We invite you to join in the conversation as our high school journalists venture into the blogosphere. Students write about what is going on in their lives at school, work, home and at play. Thanks for reading!
