Boys/Girls State
Instead of blogging this week, we're putting out an issue of the Birdwatcher in the local Clear Lake newspaper. My lucky topic of choice is writing about Boys & Girls State. These two events will be held in Aberdeen, SD and Vermillion, South Dakota in the week following school. To write my story, I'll take some questions to the office to get more information and ask the students what they're excited about and expecting to get out of the experience.
Boys State rocks! I've never been to Girls State, but I hear it might rock even more. Tell Deuel's delegates to make the most of their experience!
