pretty uneventful and I didn't really get out of the house a whole lot. I spent most of the week catching up on Days of Our
Lives and watching The Talk since I never get to see them at school! I finally got out of the house on Wednesday with
my mom to go to Watertown. Later that night I was planning to head to Brookings to a SDSU hockey game. Let's just say
I didn't make it very far and I got into a car accident.
I got to the bridge on Highway 15 and the entire driving lane was drifted over with snow. I didn't quite realize it until
it was too late. I spun out and slammed into the bridge. I freaked out of course, but came out without a scratch. Karli, Lexi,
and Taylor soon came to the rescue when they drove by. We drove my car back into town before we assessed the damage.
Both passenger side tires and my rear passenger fender were damaged, but nothing too drastic. Yet it was granted a "total
loss." I was pretty bummed.
More snow came over the weekend, but I finally made it to Brookings. We went out to supper with my sister,
brother-in-law, and niece. Then I went to see No Strings Attached. It was probably the best movie I've seen in a long time.
My mini vacation was full of watching t.v. and eating. I could have stood for a few more days off though!
