Dangerous Energy

There is a dangerous new trends among teens and even adults, and it involves a pretty unlikely suspect. Alcohol is popping up in energy drinks around the country and is slowly being banned from store shelves. Producers of these drinks are being told to stop making their product, and the drinks are banned in four states so far.
Depending on the brand, these energy drinks can contain the same amount of alcohol as four or five beers. The most dangerous part of the mixed drink is the alcohol is a depressant and the jolt of caffeine is an upper. Mixing and drinking these drinks can also cause dehydration, and has already sent many people to emergency rooms. Most of the people using these drinks are students in college. Some popular nicknames for the drinks are "liquid cocaine" and "blackout in a can".
