State Debate
Last week state debate took place in Yankton at the Yankton High School. Kjirstin Almos was the competitor from Deuel. She placed third in original oratory and she was a semi-finalist in the Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Along on the trip where coaches Jenny Keller and Heather Schwenn. "My goals for next year rather undefined at the moment. My two big accomplishments this year were getting 8th in LD at National Qualifiers and my performance at state, so I hope to be able to compete that well again next year and possilby better. " said Kjirstin.
