Shelby Update!

It seems so crazy that the first semester of my junior year is already complete! Now there's only a year and a half until my high school career is over! Now that it's winter I've been keeping busy going to basketball games and hanging out with friends when I'm not in school. I'm not involved in any athletic activities this year, but I think watching is more fun anyways. I also stay pretty busy with my church youth group. We're working on raising money to go to New Orleans in 2012! The thing I'm looking forward to most about my second semester is the springtime! It's right around the corner and before you know it, summer is here! I'll just be glad when it doesn't get dark at 5 o'clock at night! Winter just seems to be ruining a lot of plans this year.
I'm still in Journalism class, enjoying it as usual! I didn't have too many changes in my schedule this semester except for switching from Survival Skills to Lit Analysis, which is nice because I enjoy reading. It's hard to believe that we're almost seniors and start preparing for college. I plan on going to South Dakota State University, but who knows what for! There are so many options, so I'm not too worried about it yet!
Up above is a picture of me and Phoebe Kolbeck (left)!
