Second semester is finally here! I, Lexi Anderson, am halfway done with my sophomore year already. Only two and a half more years and I'll be counting down the months, weeks, and days until graduation is here at Deuel High School for myself. Go class of 2013! I think the second semester is more exciting and has more activities going on until the end of the school year. I'm a boys basketball cheerleader for the rest of the 2010-2011 winter sports season. With twenty games a season and cheer practice it can be a lot during the winter months. Practice can go on for hours with refreshing cheers, working on stunts, and making dances for performances. But trust me, it is all worth it. My winters are usually movies, sledding, ice skating, being with friends and baking! Sadly the weather here in South Dakota can get in the way with plans I have. Next season is spring which is when the snow melts, joking, hopefully, and the lighter jackets come out! This is when summer clothes shopping can start, along with many Brandt walks and puddle jumping with my girls. There is also prom, graduation, semesters, and the last day of school going on in the rainy season. Then hello to shorts, swimsuits, tank tops, and flip flops!! My favorite time of the year, summer!
