The second semester is now a week underway and students are getting back in the groove of coming to school. This second semester has several things to look forward too. Students keep saying only one more semester, instead of counting down the days till Christmas break, it is now how much longer till summer vacation.
I am really excited to see the outcome of all the winter sports when they start to go into tournaments and fight for that state title. All of our winter sports have had great starts so far and now it's the long road to those games that mean the most. the community has been a big help in encouraging these teams to perform their best, any given night. It's exciting to see how many people show up to these events and support all the sports teams.
Second semester can be very hectic with people looking forward to that long break for summer, but I hope that time flies bye. This new year and new semester will be new and exciting to look forward too.
