I think that we should spend more money towards all cancer research to save many lives. How many people do you think die each day from all sorts of kinds of cancer? About 1500 people die each day in the U.S. and about 3,400 people are told they have cancer. In 2007 about 7.6 million people died because of different types of cancer and many more found out they had cancer. I think that our country needs to stop spending money on useless things and put more money and toward a cure for cancer.
Innocent people are dying because of cancer and a ton of people in the U.S. are wasting money. About two billion dollars were spent on finding a cure for cancer. I think that is a lot of money, but it is not enough. U.S. Citizens spend most of their money on housing and for food but only 3.7% is spent on contributing money to organizations, while 3.8% spend money on apparel and services, if you think about it more people are spending money on clothes than giving money away to people who really need the money to live. Do you think giving money to an organization that is researching to find a cure for cancer is worth it? Answers may differ completely. I think that it is defiantly worth it! Some people say that they will never find a cure for cancer so why waste money trying? I think that giving money is a generous thing and people can give money if they want to. I also think that the more money that is spent on research will help in the long run and it will save millions of lives or at least let the cancer patients live longer in less pain.
There are a ton of types of cancer out there and the first step is to get enough money to find all the types of cancer and then find a way to cure them, but researchers can not do it without money. I think that innocent people die each day and it is not fair. According to the American Cancer Society web site, about 270,00 children ages from one to nineteen have cancer. There are about 8,000 more males than females with cancer. It is not fair and giving money to the cancer research would give people second chances.
