Starting Out The Season Great



The Deuel Cardinal's have started this years basketball season with a big bang, both guys and girls teams are 2-0. The girls started out the season last Tuesday with a big win over last years' State A Champs Elkton. Then after defeating Elkton the team moved on to Castlewood, State B Champs, and defeated them by over ten points. Both teams JV and Varsity are 2-0.
The Deuel boys started of the year great by winning against Castlewood in overtime. The game was intense and fun to watch. The team was down by a few points and stole the ball and made a shot to tie the game and send it into overtime. The boys then traveled to DeSmet and won again, with a close ending. Both JV and Varsity are 2-0 with a great seasons ahead of them.
The pictures above are at the Castlewood game. Some of the Deuel Girls Basketball players' decided to support the guys by wearing Christmas sweaters. The Picture below that is of some of the boys while playing and intense game against Castlewood.
