It's That Time of Year Again!

It's that time of year again and lots of people are on the ice and having some fun. If it has to deal with ice fishing or even ice skating. I have been ice fishing before but me personally I would much rather go fishing in the summer time because if you are out on a boat and don't catch anything you can hop off the boat and do a little swimming. The times that I have gone ice fishing I have never caught anything at all. My family and I have sat out on the ice for hours one year and not even got a bite, about the only bite that we got was frost bite. I like to go ice skating also but I have never been ice skating on a lake before just at an ice arena, when we went in middle school for a Christmas trip. I think it would be difficult to go ice skating on a lake because of all of the ripple on the ice from when the ice freezes.
