Happy Green Monday

First there was Black Friday, and then Cyber Monday followed. Now, the second Monday in December is called Green Monday. Green Monday was named by eBay in 2007 after their best day of sales in December. Just how much money was made online on Green Monday 2009? Around the area of $854 million. It's one of the busiest days for online retailers because customers begin worrying about free shipping deadlines, and all the other perks you might get from buying online. This year, however, Green Monday is competing in the same week as Free Shipping Friday, which is Friday, December 17th. Experts expect that buying online will be spread out more over the week.
