Thankfulness

It is that time again to be thankful for everything that goes on in your life. Not only that but it's a time for amazing food! In our family we have turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy, seven layer salad, pie and lots of other things. When you get done with this it is time to sit down relax watching the football game and take a nap.

I am not only thankful for the food but many other things. Such things are my friends, family, and everything in my life. I feel like Thanksgiving is one of those great holidays for families to get together and be thankful. It is also a time to reconnect with each other and talk about future plans like Christmas.

Thanksgiving is about so much more now, than it was when the pilgrims came over the United States. They were thankful for just having food, a place to stay, and having their families there with them. Now, though, we are, or should be, thankful for having cars, Ipods, cell phones, computers, and all of the other technology we use in this world. So I guess I am saying that I am thankful for everything that I have and own, and everyone around me for keeping me sane!
