Thoughts ramble and stir through my mind of materialistic things I am very grateful for, but those thought are miniscule to what I am granted to feel. Thankful I am, for my mistakes. For without them my head would be swollen and boastful. Thankful I am, for love offered into my heart and yet, thankful love has been stricken from my heart. Thankful I am, for kind words that ring in my ear, graceful actions obscured into my eyes, and the graceful touch of another who is just as warm at heart.
These elements whereas I express my gratitude, will never age. You will never see them rust, they will never warp in shape or form, nor will they ever be taken away from me.
"True happiness flows from the possession of wisdom
and virtue and not from the possession of external
goods."
~ Aristotle (B.C. 384-322)
