Girls Basketball from the 6th and 10th

On Friday the then 4th ranked Deuel girls basketball team hit the road to take on the Aberdeen Roncalli girls team. The girls showed what they were made of as they defeated Rocalli 54-31. Jenna V. was the leading scorer as she scored 16 points and grabbed 5 rebounds in the win. This win made the girls 14-1. When the rankings came out on Tuesday your Deuel Cardinal girls basketball team is now currently 3rd in the state. Also on Tuesday the Cardinals had their toughest test of the year as 7th ranked Sioux Valley came to town. The girls lost that game 48-41 but it was hard fought to the end. This will be the most highly anticipated match-up come district time.The girls will have Clark/Willow Lake on Friday at home in a big NEC matchup number 3 vs. number 9.
