There have been many class changes this semester. So I talked to freshmen Shelby Debaere and Mrs. Schwenn about the changes being made for the semester and found out that there are many class changes that were made.
Mrs. Schwenn teaches Geography, Government, Economics, and World History. She has 32 kids in her Government/Economics class, 23 in her Geography class and 22 in her World History class. I asked what class is her favorite to teach and she said, “I like them all because each one has its own distinctive personality.” In her classes she does many fun activities like an Election Game, Stock market Game/Investment Scholarships Applications, Creative/Interactive skits and “story time”.
Freshmen, Shelby Debaere thinks class changes from semester to semester are a good thing because then you get to learn new things and it’s not quite so boring. This semester she switched from Health to World History. What do you like about World History? She said, “I like how we learn and talk about so many different things”. She has three full year classes this year that are required and they are Science, Math and English.
She said, “I don’t really have any interests in these classes because after all they are required and I didn’t pick them.”
