The Lady Cardinals traveled to Toronto last night to take on the Deubrook Dolphins. This was the Dolphins first game of the season, while the Cards held a 2-0 record.
The Cardinals struggled to make their baskets but made up for it on defense. After the first quarter it was 12-10, with the Cardinals leading. At half time it was 28-18. The third quarter was a struggle for the team, making only 3 shots. They went into the 4th quarter at 31-26. The ending score of the game was 42-34, for a Cardinal victory. The Varsity is now 3-0.
The JV team ended their game 22-24, as their first loss of the season. The JV is now 2-1.
Both JV and Varsity are playing very well together and have fun out on the court. Hopefully the teams continue to keep ending their nights with "W" throughout the season!
